This was a mind blowing party with the kind of performances that you get to see once in a lifetime. Liapin + Schmumer improvised duo and Eric McFedden Trio took the audience to another world by their amazing improvisations on stage. Huge thanks and compliments to the organizing crew - they did an amazing job with sound, camping, parking, and keeping the place in order! Red Marines is now one of the “must go” annual events for me.

Awesome Awesome Awesome.
You guys have taken California Music and Psy Trance gatherings to a new level. Was really a lot of fun to help out, I wish I could’ve stayed longer, and I will next year. I look forward to helping out again. I had too much fun!
Much love and Peace!

Hundreds of locals were puzzled and sleepless because of the anonymous electronic drumbeat haunting our hills for two days and nights. next time, at least give the neighbors a heads up so we can either join the party or abandon the San gregorio Valley and hillsides for the weekend.

Dear Tom,
My deepest apologies for the noise we’ve created. We have contacted every neighbor withing 1-2 miles, but we did not expect the sound to travel that far.
Tom I will be visiting every neighbor shortly with apology letter and an explanation.
Sincerely,
Eugene

Great success!
As it was expected the festival turned to really awesome, hustle free event and celebration.
Here is top 13 things that I loved on top of great music and opportunity to meet great people.
1. back stage / kitchen.
2. swimming pool / showers
5. security and coordination
6. new super convenient locations close to SF and the ocean
7. stag, sound, light, quality and professionalism of the crew
9. all night long open bar and Russian food cafe !
10. upstairs stage - an awesome venue looks and sounds amazing
11. reel mobile
12. the festival is becoming an international / multicultural event rather then only Russian one.
13. having multiple sites allow people do what they want, dance or sleep or whatever
Everyone who worked on the festival really put their HEARTS in it does really feels.
Big thank you!

Wow. What a great gathering!!! It definitely is a runner-up for the Best Gig of the season, even though October has just started. BIG, BIG THANKS to the Parus brothers, Eugene Tarasov and all the crew!!! Guys, your passion and enthusiasm for music is amazing, and that’s what creates magic!
The main stage area was perfect. Large space, with distinct boundaries, awesome lighting, grass (not dirt) under feet - it really felt like dancing on the carpet.
My (largely cosmopolitan) heart also rejoiced at seeing my compatriots more and more mingling together with other nationalities, to the point that it was finally hard to recognize ‘Russkih from ‘ne Russkih’. Come on, rebyata, open up your hearts and minds even further. It’s One World, One Love!
On the proletarian note, I would also like to mention one more positive thing about the event: it was nicely priced. (Symbiosis, if it happened, would charge at least twice the amount, not that I wouldn’t go, if it only happened).
And a note regarding the live acts. I think it would be nice to give the Russian stars like Liapin a bit of an earlier time-slot, and stick to it. Liapin, at least in my opinion, is really a headliner for the Russian part of the festival, and deserves a little bigger audience staying outside their tents. Especially that he was combining it with some nice beats from DJ Sasha, - it really was dance music. Giving him a more cheerful greeting will help to bring out more of his talent out. Plus, the nights at this time of year are already cold, and live musicians may have trouble with their fingers in the cold. Anyway, it would be great to have him back again for the next year. Thanks for bringing such great musicians here!

Dear Ones
Thank you for the beautiful times under the stars, in the trees, on the grass..
It was special to get out and hang out with all of you for 2 days..
My only suggestions for next time are these:
- and maybe making an indoor chillout space there, could be super-cozy.
- a better decorated outdoor chillout area (carpet, pillows, fluros, lights)
- making the backstage kitchen accessible to ALL (socialist style, right?
Again, thank you for all your work -
it was FUN.

As far as the chillout stage goes, considering the size of our crew, 2, (not counting my friends and other volunteers):, and our budget of zero dollars, I am very happy with the way that the chill stage turned out. I really liked the underground feeling without the exessive lights and decorations. Carpet is a good idea for the future, but the whole stage was put through the efforts and hearts of those who really cared. I am really greatful to the djs and the musicians who made our stage feel warm and homey. A big thanks to my friends and the volunteers who helped build and decorate as well. We do, however, have to step it up next year. We had zero technical issues besides some crazies turning on my system without permission and blasting irritating music at 7 am on Saturday. For that I apologize, and it won’t happen again.
See you all next year!
-Kirill
So, carpets are coming, visual projection screens with VJs as well, and more world class downtempo, techno, dub, and other electronic musicians. And to top it off, I will use an additional double 18″ sub.
Cheers yall!

This was an amazingly epic weekend never to be forgotten! I loved the location, the music, the energy… Everyone there was so friendly and open, it was a very welcoming environment yet still very well organized. I loved that there was something for every mood & energy level. The chillout stage with the Totem pole & altar was awesome. Thank you so much to all of the volunteers and performers, it was an absolute blast! Surely I will be there next year. And thanks to the Russians for letting us infiltrate your campfire singalongs
