Welcome!

On these pages you’ll find everything you’ll need to know to make your time at the Red Marines Music Festival most pleasant and fun.  It is very important that you read our policies and recommendations.

  1. Remember, Red Marines Music Festival is a LEAVE NO TRACE event. Please, respect each other and the nature around you.
    Everything you bring with you goes back with you, including your TRASH.   Bring enough garbage bags and room in your car for it.  Indian Valley Reservoir is a natural preserve and we want to keep it that way.   Violators will be cited and you’ll be banned from future attendances of the Red Marines Music Festival
  2. SMOKERS If you smoke, bring a portable ashtray. NO cigarette butts on the ground!

  4. WEATHER It does get kind of hot there.  Bring all you need to protect yourself from the sun.   We recommend that you set up gazebos or some shade structures, as there isn’t much vegetation, though there is some, but it may get taken fast by the first comers.  Don’t forget a sun lotion.
  5. CAMPING Indian Valley Reservoir is a primitive camping site.  There are no tables or BBQ grills.  Come prepared.
  6. TIPI If you are coming with a group of friends or a large family, we recommend renting a TIPI, which will be the BEST protection from the sun. Click here
  7. SWIMMING Indian Valley Reservoir is a lake, so bring your swim gear.   With our experience the lake does get a bit dried up in the hot season, but there will be water to splash in.
  8. CHILDREN under age of 14 are FREE to attend and do not require a ticket.
  9. CEL PHONES There is NO phone reception there, so make your phone calls before making a turn from Hwy 20
  10. WATER There will be water for sale.  We’ll also provide a soothing mist for the main dance floor
  11. ICE There will be ice for sale.
  12. FOOD Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food will be available. For vendor details click here.
  13. ARRIVAL Please have your ID ready, so that we can promptly match you to our records and check for your ticket purchase.  If you have not purchased your ticket, there will be tickets available at the front gate for a $85.  Cash only. No credit cards or checks will be accepted.  There are no ATM machines close by.
  14. PARKING Upon your arrival you will be directed to the parking area. Please be courteous to our parking attendants. They are working really hard.
