Dear Red Marines Music Festival Sponsor,
On the weekend of June 18-20th, 2010, music enthusiasts from all over the world will gather in the outdoors of Northern California to participate in the 6th Annual Red Marines Music Festival.
Organized by Red Marines, LLC and the Circle of Arts Foundation, this event is expected to bring people together through the common interests in music and art, in an attempt to generate awareness and raise funds for the support of recent Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans, along with all those in need of a proper medical treatment and adequate health care.
A portion of the proceeds garnered from the event is donated to the VA Medical Centers
across America.
A recent study from Harvard University, “Soldiers Returning from Iraq and Afghanistan:
The long-term costs of providing veterans medical care and disability benefits,” reports that
“Veteran’s Administration is both under-funded and under-equipped to deal with the imminent costs of veterans’ health care.” Some of the rising pressure has been alleviated by private sponsorship and individual donations. Therefore, our event is designed to address these vital issues and credit the well being of our country’s heroes on a larger communal scale.
In the past 5 years, the festival has been successfully orchestrated and organized, generating over $25,000/event, and drawing over a 1000 attendees. Red Marines Music Festival fan base has grown dramatically, and this year’s upcoming event is expected to be the largest one yet by far. Musical talent is presented by over 70 performing bands and artists, including some major headlining acts in the various genres presented. In addition to musical entertainment there will be 3D modeling graphic designers, photography, art exhibitions and yoga workshops, all of which are committed to the cause in a combined effort to attract a larger group of audience to acquire awareness, as well as in the meanwhile raise funds to provide for the solution.
Prior Red Marines Festivals have received media coverage from KBTV- CA, the San Francisco
Chronicle and SF Weekly newspapers, as well as local radio stations such as Live 105, Energy 92.7, 107.7 and Novoe Radio. The event has also been supported by advertisement and marketing organizations such as Going , Goldstar and SF Gate. Russian-American Cultural Foundation has provided monetary and talent support last year. This year we have also added The Unitz Company, as a major electronic music promoter and advertiser

All event licenses and permits have been obtained and are in compliance and approval with the County Conventions and Visitors Bureau.
With a full 3-day festival culminating on Saturday night, we expect participant retention to be stronger than ever for the duration of the entire event.
