Come and support our environmental sustainability mission. We are dedicated to run as close to a zero-waste event as possible, and are committed to:

MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ELIMINATE TRASH
Red Marines is committed to eliminating trash. If trash can be replaced with a more sustainable option, such as a reusable, it will be. If an item is going to end up in a landfill, we are going to make best efforts to not use it in the first place. Our vendors, sponsors and other on-site associates have enthusiastically agreed to our same high GREENING standards.

THE WATER IS NON POTABLE
Come prepared, and bring all the water that you’ll need. We will also stack up with water for those of you that did not read this ;)

A capacity-controlled SWIMMING POOL with Certified Lifeguards will be available for $7/person for the whole weekend! (Not included in the ticket). With the swimming pool pass you will also have access to SHOWERS.

Warning - There is massive amounts of Poison Oak outside of the cleared venue areas. Hiking trails are adjacent to poison oak. Be careful.
Fires - There will be NO open fires except in the two designated fire pits at the two camping areas. Small propane BBQ’s are OK.

“GREEN” VOLUNTEER CREWS
We will make every effort to practice a 3 tiered waste sorting at the event – compost, recycling and trash, that will all be separated to minimize the amount of actual trash produced by the festival. Throughout the 3-day event, volunteers will be available to help with questions, sorting, and to generally assist in the elimination of all types of waste.
Red Marines is proud to host a LEAVE NO TRACE EVENT!
If you wish to become part of the GREEN CREW, please check the VOLUNTEER. more

COMPOST AND RECYCLE
In an effort to redirect as much waste as possible, Red Marines offers compost stations and recycling bins available on-site. These stations accept all compostable food and food service items, as well as any personal biodegradable items you may have with you (like paper). Special recycling bins will be labeled clearly, so please be sure to pause, read them, and select accordingly. Please recycle whenever possible!

REPLACE DISPOSABLES WITH COMPOSTABLES
We encourage the use of compostable products made from renewable plant sources instead of standard ‘trash items’ like plastic cups, plates and plastic utensils. We strongly suggest to campers to bring their own dishes, cookware and utensils, or to bring their used compostable items to one of the compost stations on the camp grounds.

ENERGY USAGE
Red Marines will provide generator power for the sound systems, lighting and the stage, which will be hosting all kinds of activities throughout the day, including music, special performances, and more! But, there will not be power for personal use.

TRANSPORTATION & PARKING
Ample parking will be available at Driscal Ranch, right next door to OVY Camp, at 5460 La Honda Rd., Highway 84, La Honda, CA 94020. Parking is $5/car. Carpool ;) It’s about 50ft to the festival entrance.
